Depression and Anxiety Therapy For Professionals in San Francisco In Person and Online in California

You’re a smart, go-getter, hard working professional. You have clients and employees, all who need you to do things for them. Your managers also have expectations of you and even if you're the owner of your own company, all that means is more responsibility upon you.

You put up with a lot at work and I know that you feel the constant pressure to succeed and do more and more and more… but that's you. You're driven and you know how to work hard. You want to do more.

Lately you're noticing that you feel tired, burned out, and overwhelmed, and you can't stop thinking about work and all the other responsibilities on your plate.

It feels like A LOT.

You're finding yourself tossing and turning at night, feeling on edge all the time, and when you're not able to do it all, you end up feeling guilty, lost, and depressed.

You don't feel like you have the energy for much else. Maybe you’ve even lost sight of who you are and it makes you feel out of control. You’ve tried speaking to friends and family but you don't really want to burden them and so you keep it to yourself, even though you recognize you could probably use some help.

You may even find yourself just wanting to escape the bad feelings by eating too much takeout... or drinking more alcohol than you should… or binge watching shows for hours on end.

But this isn't you and this isn't what you want.

You want to be able to see your friends and family more.. go out and enjoy the fun things San Francisco has to offer.. perhaps even read a book or listen to a podcast.. or plan a trip. You want to enjoy your life again.

My name is Dr. Sunita Shenoy. I am a clinical psychologist in San Francisco and I help stressed out working professionals, leaders, and business owners to overcome the effects of depression and anxiety.

For over 10 years, I have helped people like you, successful and determined professionals, who've tried to make the stress and anxiety go away on their own. I've provided anxiety and depression therapy to many engineers, doctors, teachers, entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals, executives, and lawyers.

When my clients first come to see me, they're struggling with work stress, stress in their personal lives, their relationships... they're having anxiety… they're worrying a lot… they may be depressed… all because they're going through a lot of challenges and changes.

When I work with them, I help them to achieve a better work life balance so they don't feel lost anymore and they can get back their sense of direction in life.

When I work with you, you'll start to notice a difference within a few sessions.

Here's a little bit about what it’s like being in therapy for anxiety with me: I use a combination of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Insight-Oriented therapy and Mindfulness based therapies. I use these to help you identify and change negative thoughts which will help you start to recognize some of the unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviors.

I’ll work with you to make concrete changes, so that you can feel better about yourself and feel more calm… so you know what you need to do to make the right kinds of changes. I'll ask you some thoughtful questions to help you dig deeper into the real issues.

What you'll start to notice is that you'll have improvements, not just with the issues you brought to anxiety therapy initially, but that other areas of your life will improve too.. including your relationships, work, and the way you treat yourself. You’ll feel happier, lighter, and more self confident, knowing how to approach your life with less stress, and more ease.

We will focus on improving your mood, helping you get better sleep, and improving your overall quality of life. I'll give you some of the skills and tools that you might need so that you can get back to doing the things that you really care about.

How does that sound?
